MuslimCBT ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit www.muslimcbt.com, request a free resource, contact us, or purchase our programme. We operate under applicable Indian data protection law and apply relevant international privacy requirements where they apply to our activities.

2. Data We Collect
When you visit the site
- Technical access information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and security events may be processed by our hosting, CDN, security, and analytics providers.
- Analytics information may be collected to understand site usage and improve performance.
When you request optional emails
- Email address and your selected email purpose — to send a confirmation link and, after you confirm, the starter sequence or optional buyer learning emails. The free starter PDFs can be downloaded without subscribing.
- You can unsubscribe from optional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link. Purchase receipts and paid download delivery are separate.
- We keep confirmation timestamps, consent purpose, sequence enrolment status and verified purchase status to operate these emails and stop sales messages after purchase. We use short-lived, secret-key-derived identifiers for signup rate limits. These records do not include worksheet answers or symptom scores.
When you purchase or start checkout for the programme
- Payments may be processed by Razorpay and/or Gumroad depending on the checkout made available to you.
- We may receive information needed to fulfil and support your order, such as your name, email address, billing country, payment status, order identifier, transaction reference, currency, and amount paid.
- If you actively tick the optional checkout-reminder box, we record that choice and may use your email address, checkout/order identifier, product, amount, currency, and checkout time to send no more than two reminders about that incomplete purchase. Checkout reminders are not sent when the box is left unticked.
- If the purchase is completed, a purchase-completed event is used to stop any remaining checkout reminders associated with that email address.
- We do not directly store your complete card number, CVV, online-banking password, or UPI PIN. Sensitive payment credentials are handled by the payment processor and relevant banking/payment networks.
When you contact us
- We process the information you provide in your message, together with any order or payment reference you send, so that we can respond and provide support.

5. International Processing
MuslimCBT serves customers internationally. Some service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we rely on the safeguards and contractual arrangements provided by those service providers and on other lawful transfer mechanisms available under applicable privacy law.
6. Data Retention
- Email subscriber information: until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to consent, suppression and transaction records needed to honour your preferences and support purchases. Expired confirmation links and rate-limit records are removed during subsequent signup requests; they are not used to send follow-up emails.
- Optional checkout-reminder consent and related order metadata: retained as reasonably necessary to operate the reminder flow, demonstrate the consent choice, prevent inappropriate reminders after purchase, handle support, and meet legal obligations.
- Purchase, payment, tax, and accounting records: retained for the period required by applicable law and legitimate accounting obligations.
- Support correspondence: retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, dispute resolution, security, and legal purposes.
- Technical/security logs: retained according to the relevant provider's operational and security settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing of, or request portability of your personal data, as well as withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may withdraw consent to checkout reminders at any time using the unsubscribe or preference option provided in the reminder email where available, or by emailing us. 8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures and reputable third-party payment and infrastructure providers to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as our services, payment providers, email systems, or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date will be revised when we do so.
